Built-in recheck function

It is important to maintain a clean eye pattern waveform with little jitter for error-free SDI signal transmission.

The VHD-2200 is equipped with a reclocking function to reduce jitter that cannot be eliminated simply by correcting the waveform using an equalizer.

High quality transmission with simple connection

When using a conventional BNC cable with significant cable transmission loss, the degraded signal is reclocked to a clean signal,
and output at the same level as the original signal.

Connector layout with selectable input direction

Since the video input direction can be inputted from either the left panel or the right panel,
it can be connected from the direction of the connected external device without turning the cable,
so there is no stress on the cable or connector.

Since there are two inputs (one of the inputs) on one line, it is possible to input from the other even if the input connector is damaged.

Why isn’t it not enough just to have an equalizer?

When transmitting the SDI signal, if the signal is corrected with an equalizer,
it looks as if it has been corrected.
There is a slight time shift of the waveform called.

This jitter is not a problem with a small amount, but increases with each extension, causing a signal error.
